Current future plans:

Become a Piano Tuner/Technician

• I have been attending Piano Technician’s Guild meetings in Lansing since Feb 2024, and completed the Piano Technician Academy online training program. With consistent practice, I hope to be able to offer basic tuning and repair services within the next few years.

Grow a studio of 20-25 private students

• I currently have 18 wonderful students, both online and in-person, and am excited and eager for more.

Compose & release a full album of piano solos

• I have 4 solos composed, all of which are recorded and published on bandcamp. I am currently working on my 5th solo. I expect to need around 8 solos to reach album length (approx 40 minutes).

Pursue a master’s degree in music composition, piano pedagogy, music technology, or similar

• I know I want to pursue some sort of master’s degree in music or a related field, but I don’t expect it to happen for another 3-5 years at least. I want to become a piano technician first.

Provide online, beginner, adult group classes for piano and music theory

• For a long time, I couldn’t find a suitable online platform to host this, but I’ve recently found something I think would work really well, so I just need to develop the lesson plans/program.
